Turnip The Heat 2025 Sweepstakes (“Contest”)
1. GENERAL
The Turnip The Heat Sweepstakes (the “Contest“) is run by Growing Chefs Society.
2. CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest opens on November 26, 2025 at 12:01 am (PST) and ends on December 31, 2025 at 11:59 pm (PST). There will be three draws for separate prizes on one date.
Draw date: January 5th, 2026 at 11:00am PST.
3. ELIGIBILITY
The contest is open to all BC residents who have reached the age of majority.
4. HOW TO ENTER
There are two ways to earn an Entry or Entries in the Contest as follows:
No purchase required. There is no donation necessary to enter the contest. To obtain one (1) entry in the contest without making a donation visit http://growingchefs.ca/turniptheheat2025. Complete the official entry form available below during the Contest Period. Please write “Turnip the Heat Entry” in the subject line, along with your name and the requested contact information, then click “submit”
One (1) Entry is given to each donor for every donation received during the contest period. Donations can be made by e-transfer, cheque or CanadaHelps.org (monthly donations included).
To be valid, entries must be received by December 31, 2025.
Limit of one entry per person per week. If you attempt or are suspected of attempting to enter more than once per day or use robotic, automatic, programmed or any entry methods not authorized by these rules, it shall be deemed as tampering and will void your entries.
Entry forms become the property of Growing Chefs and will not be returned to you.
5. DESCRIPTION OF PRIZE(S)
1) Signed Vancouver Canucks jersey (#40 Elias Pettersson, value $500–$1,000)
2) Dinty Designs Pearl necklace + pearl earrings (value $122 total)
3) House of Knives HOK Fusion Classic 6" Asian Prep Knife (value $79)
6. PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING PRIZES
On January 5th, 2026 a random draw will be conducted from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The first selected contestant to correctly answer the mandatory mathematical skill-testing question shall be declared the winner, subject to meeting all the conditions described in these rules.
Winner will be contacted by e-mail during the week following the draw and should claim their prize as instructed by Growing Chefs. If the contact incorrectly answers the mathematical skill-testing question or declines the prize the prize shall be forfeited.
7. ANY OTHER RESTRICTIONS TO THE WINNING PRIZE
The organization is not responsible for difficulties arising in contacting the winner due to the winner entering erroneous contact information. Winners are not required to be present at the draw location.
8. CONDITIONS FOR UNCLAIMED PRIZES
Winners have 15 days to claim the prize. Unclaimed prizes will be donated.
